Baby Goat Yoga & Yogurt - Sunday Morning, June 23rd

“Goat yoga is the peanut butter and jelly of dream life combinations.”

Totally valid quote by AJ Williamson. But you can live this dream and then some at our Baby Goat Yoga at Three Pines Farm.

Enjoy the restoration of the still Iowa countryside, the bliss of time spent with the best baby goats EVER (7 of them – Pip, Fannie, Paulo, Tillie, Alice, Ettie, and Sonnie, ranging from 3.5 weeks to 2 weeks of age), and the profoundly balancing yoga experience with Yoga G, Greg Houseal. We will take joy in a 45 minute-long yoga session with Greg, in our 153 year old family barn, with our goat friends romping freely alongside you (and maybe even romping onto your back!)

We will follow that up with time to soak up some more blissful baby goat cuddles, plus enjoy an heirloom yogurt bar with various delicious topping options (45 minutes). A farm-fresh herbal iced tea will be served as well. You may choose to dine inside our quaint studio, or picnic outdoors.

Now that’s a dream life combination.

About Your Educator - Yoga G, Greg Houseal:

Active throughout his life, Greg began practicing yoga about 12 years ago in response to an injury that triggered very painful sciatica. He realized then that while he was fit aerobically and physically strong, his body was out of balance. He loved the experience of yoga so much he was inspired to teach, and received RYT 200 training in 2011 through James Miller Yoga in Iowa City. Greg approaches yoga as a moving meditation, and seeks to create this experience for students. He also believes yoga can be a joyful experience of movement, playful even, for the purpose of balancing strength and flexibility, in a form that is accessible throughout life.
