With the guidance of professionally trained baker, Vicky Dunn, learn how to create a simple, but striking, special occasion cake. In this workshop, we will make a Swiss Meringue buttercream (not your average buttercream!), and we will learn - hands-on - a few easy techniques that make your cake beautiful.  Recipes will be included, allowing you to continue the joy of baking at home.  We may even share some cake at the end of class. Let us eat (and make!) cake! 


About Your Educator: 

Vicky Dunn received her culinary training at the French Pastry School in Chicago, IL.  She extended her formal training at King Arthur Flour in Vermont, specifically in the masterful craft of sourdough bread baking.  Since 2012, she has been sharing her artisan baked goods with the Cedar Valley through C’est la V Bakery.

Please register by May 1st, 2017.  If the class minimum is not met, a refund may be issued in lieu of this class offering.  You will be alerted shortly after the registration deadline if a refund is being issued.  All materials will be provided in class. 

Cancellations occurring after May 1st, 2017 will be subject to forfeiture of registration costs.
