Kids + Baby Goat Kids + Yoga = THE PURE JOY OF GOAT KIDS YOGA

What is Goat Kids Yoga? It’s a yoga event just for the kids - human ones, and our seven baby goat kids, too! Donna Heller, of State Street Yoga, will lead a 40 min yoga session with the baby goats as giddy, romping participants right alongside us in our 153 year old family barn. We’ll follow that up with 30 minutes of blissful cuddle & compassion time with the baby goats, along with snack break of homemade chocolate chip cookie bars (if your child has dietary restrictions, please let us know and we will try to provide an alternative).

About Your Educator

Donna Heller started her yoga journey ten years ago when she realized yoga was not just another form of exercise for the physical body, but balancing for the mind and soul. In 2013 Donna received her 200hr certification in Tantric Hatha Yoga under the direction of Tanya Boigenzahn and Ben Vincent at Devanadi School of Yoga & Wellness in Minneapolis Mn.
The last four years Donna has had the pleasure of teaching adults, kids, and teens. Her intention as a teacher is to guide students to self realization of how yoga can help them find balance in their lives and bodies.

Date: Tuesday, June 25th, 2019

Special Notes:

This class will be held in a 153 year old barn. Please bring a mat and wear clothes you are comfortable subjecting to some dirt and goats.

Baby goats are not potty trained and may have accidents. They also may try to nibble on your belongings and/or you (some especially love hair, so you might prefer to bring a hair tie).

Please feel free to bring an old towel or picnic blanket to use under your mat.

We will hold our event rain or shine – we are out of the elements in our barn, although it is not air-conditioned.

A waiver/media release must be signed prior to class (it will be available for you to sign when you arrive).

Where to Go: You will find us at 9611 Wagner Rd. in Cedar Falls. We will be on the north (farmhouse) side of the big red barn. Feel free to park by the little brick barn, up by the farmhouse, or anywhere in-between!

Please register by Saturday, June 22nd, 2019. If the participant minimum is not met, a refund may be issued in lieu of this offering. You will be alerted shortly after the registration deadline if a refund is being issued.
