Intro to Artisan Sourdough Bread with Vicky Dunn of C'est La V Bakery

Learn the art of baking artisan sourdough bread with Vicky Dunn of C’est la V Bakery. In this workshop, you will learn the sourdough bread baking process from start to finish — caring for your starter, proofing, folding, shaping, as well as the special baking techniques that develop the pleasing crumb and crackling crust which define authentic sourdough breads.  Each student will leave class with a fresh loaf of sourdough bread, along with Vicky’s unique sourdough starter to continue making your own delicious bread at home.

 

About Your Educator: 

Vicky Dunn received her culinary training at the French Pastry School in Chicago, IL, which is where she developed her love of sourdough breads.  She extended her formal training at King Arthur Flour in Vermont, specifically in the masterful craft of sourdough bread baking.  Since 2012, she has been sharing her artisan baked goods with the Cedar Valley through C’est la V Bakery.

Registration Fee:  $45.00 per person (includes course fee, materials, + applicable taxes)

Age Requirement: 18+ years of age

 

Please register by August 18th, 2018.  If the class minimum is not met, a refund may be issued in lieu of this class offering.  You will be alerted shortly after the registration deadline if a refund is being issued.  All materials and supplies will be provided in class.

 

Cancelations occurring after March 17, 2018 will be subject to forfeiture of registration costs.
