Intro to Macrame: Plant Hangers with Tatyana Hall of Teal Tatie Macrame

Macrame is back and it’s beautiful. It’s updated, super fresh and modern, with soft colors and natural elements. Although most strongly pinpoint macramé to the 1970s, it was also very popular in the Victorian era, and originated with Arabic weavers in the 13th century.

In this hands-on workshop with Tatyana Hall of Teal Tatie Macrame (@tealtatiemacrame), you will learn macramé basics by crafting your own plant hanger. The plant hanger will be made with near-white cording, and is designed to fit a 6” pot (pot & plant not included - click on image for a full view of the hanger you will make).
