Small Boat Supper Club

good food + fine books + big talk

Rethink your idea of a supper club. Rethink your idea of a book club. Rethink your idea of conversation. The Small Boat Supper Club has come into being after roughly three years of diligent designing, and will leave you rethinking all things, large and small, in the best possible way.

It’s about big talk, not small talk. It’s about gathering and breaking bread with friends in the making. It’s a busy, deep-thinking introvert’s dream come true. Over the course of four weeks, our intimate group will come together to dive into highly concise, but rich & nourishing, readings of 10-12 pages (~10 minutes or less of reading time…. as previously mentioned, accommodating to even the most busy). Each week you will also receive a highly curated “collection” in your inbox to supplement and enhance your reading. Each week’s collection will feature a poem, contemplation, and an optional (but highly recommended) listening. Together we will explore new perspectives of the greater world around us, and within us.

We will gather weekly, around our long table in our cozy barn, nourishing not just our minds and hearts, but our bellies too, with soup, salad, bread, and dessert – all from-scratch and all-you-can-eat-until-it’s-all-gone.

But week one of our four week journey… Week one is slightly different. For our first visit with each other, we will gather for the grand book reveal and hors d'oeuvres. So, yes, there will be an element of surprise in awaiting the featured book of our inaugural Small Boat Supper Club!

This is going to be an epic journey. Leap in the boat and start rowing.
