Thrilled to announce this special dinner concert with the Rosewood Novelty Band in the Big Red Barn at Three Pines Farm!

About the Rosewood Novelty Band:

The Rosewood Novelty Band offers a fun and entertaining throwback to the music of the early 20th century, the “Golden Age of the Xylophone,” bringing the charm and energy of a bygone era to modern audiences. Led by Matt Andreini, who performs on his authentic 1920s rosewood xylophone, the band draws inspiration from legendary xylophonists such as George Hamilton Green and Red Norvo, whose innovative approaches to the instrument helped shape the sounds of the 1920s and 1930s. The band’s signature sound is further enriched by a rhythm section featuring banjo/piano (Dave Smith), violin (Julia Andreini), and bass saxophone (Bob Abbott).

Celebrating the early jazz era, the Rosewood Novelty Band performs a mix of ragtime, novelty songs, and popular tunes from the 1920s and 1930s. Paying homage to the composers and performers of the time, the band also creatively adapts modern songs into this vintage style, infusing contemporary hits with the spirited rhythms and timeless charm of early jazz.

About your Dinner:

We will feature a light summery dinner for you to enjoy during the show & an ice cream social at concert’s end for you to enjoy more of the farm & some good conversation. The ice cream will be served off our our vintage ice cream truck in front of the barn (weather permitting). The light dinner will be served to you at your table seating in the big barn.

• We will limit our guest number to ensure a beautifully immersive experience for all who attend.

• All guests will be seated at communal tables in the central nave of the barn with intimate viewing of the band.

• The big red barn is not air conditioned, but has large fans to cool.

• Event will be held rain or shine (except in the event of very severe weather).

• Please note this is a farm, so accessibility is limited.

• This is a BYOB friendly event (wine or beer only please, no liquor allowed - must be 21 years or older to consume any alcohol, of course).
